there are a lot more 12-year-old girls in the world than you think 
but that was my point, that # of views isn't a good indicator, because people who don't like something drive up the number as well.
the Bieber vid has 1,442,300 likes, 3,203,082 dislikes; so it's in the red 
Psy has more overall likes and a positive ratio.

I hear you and fully agree with you. You didn't know how many likes/dislikes that baby video got before which means you don't care about Bieber at all. That's a good thing.

Artificial television doesn't automatically qualify as bad. I wouldn't jump to that conclusion immediately.
However, I don't see what Glee's got that makes it so special. The acting is beyond awful, the covers are generally dreadful, an insult to the originals.
I take no pleasure in disapproving of the show. The only reason I do it, is because it doesn't deserve the success it gets. People should watch real TV for once. Listen to original music, not happy clappy rubbish that they reproduce.

So you think. Did you dare consider the possibility other people may disagree with you? Clearly a lot of people do. So why should your opinion be the one that stands?
In my opinion, acting isn't awful. Some actors are better than others, some are actually pretty great while others are borderline terrible. I have a similar opinion about the covers.
