I've been lurking the forum for more than a year already, so I kind of figured out who are the prolific/famous posters, and specific MTF jargon, haha.
My real name's Joël, I'm from The Netherlands, currently an exchange student in Canada.
Have been watching tennis since early childhood, never played it myself. Never really had favorite players until Federer came onto the scene. Apart from him I don't really care who wins or plays, just want to see a good match .
Hope to have a good time here!

Welcome, welcome. Distinguish yourself from the clowns on the board, and you'll be fine. Enjoy and have fun!

Ottawa's cool. I like going to Dunn's and also getting Beaver Tails at the Market.

Re: Good day MTF!
If you work hard, hold extreme views on some top players that will alienate many posters, and throw in some general clowning with your posts, maybe this time next year we will see you in the ACC main draw. Good luck

So, no ACC for sensible posters?

If you like competitions, there are plenty to be a part of. Especially during the season, with Fill-in-the-draw, Suicide tennis, Tennis tipping, predict-the-score et cetera. Check out the "Games"-section if you haven't already done so

Welcome, Joel!
You may want to think of getting signature (something funny, preferably), and an avatar so we can distinguish you from the average mugs on here.

I root for them when they play, but it's difficult liking them. They have a lot of talent, but they don't seem to have the mentality to push through to the top. It's annoying to see how inconsistent they are. Haase can push Nadal to 5 sets today, and lose in straight sets to someone outside top 100 tomorrow. De Bakker seems to have lost it, and Sijsling is in good form now, but I doubt that'll last very long

I love them all. Haase is frustrating but he's so great to watch. De Bakker is on the way back, and he will improve next year. Sijsling will establish himself next year, I think. All in all, it looks good for Dutch tennis.

Lose? yes. Straight sets from Haase? Never

But it's okay, because the top 10 playing more is good for the game!
