You studied Southeast Asian history? I don't know much about Eastern European history (or South American for that matter). The focus of the high school history curriculum for European history was very Western Europe and WW1 and WW2.

i don't study any history, i needed to know all that to enter law school, because we had such questions at the qualifying test (history and political science)

later at law school we had history course for a year, but it mainly focused on legal aspects, not wars and stuff, and mostly of selected countries: Poland ofc, USA, UK, France, Germany, Russia (bits of Switzerland and Austria as well). There was a separate subject "History of law in South America" but it was an option subject and I chose something else.

and at journalism faculty we will have general 20th century history, i don't know how detailed it will be. i suspect this one will go around wars, independence declarations, political parties etc.
