I was dehydrated, not that great, played tennis in the morning and didn't go downtown cuz I felt awful all afternoon. Watched The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio at night instaed of fireworks.
How was yours?
boring. I just stayed at home. I moved recently and any celebrations going on in winnipeg were to far away for me to get to(i also dont have a car). Normally i would walk but it was rediculously hot and i would have killed myself getting there
then i got sick that night and im only now getting over it
So happy about this. Any other outcome would have been silly for Nash.
Agreed - on one level I'm sad for the franchise, but on the other he owes nothing to the Raptors. And frankly as the bidding wars got more intense, I was expecting the Raptors to do something really stupid to win - the first offer was already too high. And I don't think he'll hold up at a superstar level for three more years.
Don't know where to put this "@andyroddick: What planet are we on? "
That's interesting! A lot of Canadian sports personalities have wineries now. I've passed by Wayne Gretzky's winery many times, as I have family in Beamsville, just next to what they call Jordan in that part of wine country. Haven't tried it, though.
I did try Mike Weir's wine at a restaurant. It was a very powerful, smoky red. A bit overpowering on it's own but it went well with steak
