So happy about this. Any other outcome would have been silly for Nash.

Agreed - on one level I'm sad for the franchise, but on the other he owes nothing to the Raptors. And frankly as the bidding wars got more intense, I was expecting the Raptors to do something really stupid to win - the first offer was already too high. And I don't think he'll hold up at a superstar level for three more years.
Now we have Landry Fields for $19 million

Most of the fans here are happy for Nash. They love him and really hope he wins a champinionship before he retire. But it is hard to see him plays for LA as they hate the Lakers.

Liked how Roddick did the McEnroe imitation through the whole point, and won!

That's interesting! A lot of Canadian sports personalities have wineries now. I've passed by Wayne Gretzky's winery many times, as I have family in Beamsville, just next to what they call Jordan in that part of wine country. Haven't tried it, though.
I did try Mike Weir's wine at a restaurant. It was a very powerful, smoky red. A bit overpowering on it's own but it went well with steak

well I don't know if they own it outright, or are just a partner, or have a label under another winery. But it's not unusual for athletes to look for investment opportunities.
