I think this aspect also reveals part of my personality. It's not about being unsocial, introvertit, or something like that...I think it's all about being powerful and self-confident. In a tennis match (at single) the result only depends on you, on your mental and physical strength and talent. And, of course,it also depends on the help of God.

And, another important thing (for why most of you might consider me a bit selfish) is that when you win a prize, it is all yours, you don't have to share it with anybody!

Leave religious beliefs at home! It really pisses me off when people do this

I play tennis, so I win or lose, not a supernatural puppet master.

1. A sport that you can grow old with, much like golf or swimming.
2. Relatively cheap if you invest only in equipment and in USA use public outdoor and indoor courts.3. When you are watching pros play the general culture of the game is classy. The traditions of handshakes, protocol for time outs, general guidelines for sportsmanship are nice to see. Of course there are many exceptions to this such as Andy Murrays incessant use of the F-bomb.

I like Tennis because it,s fast paced . I can,t stand people that take forever to serve , ( When playing) . I like getting into a rhythm . I like the varied challenges I get of different types of players. Big hitters. Big servers . Players that get everything back and try grind you down. I have quite a lively style of play. I hit the ball hard get it back a lot . serve big and move into net quite a lot to finish points off . Backhand volley is solid. Forehand volley is alright. Usually hit a big flat forehand if at net , and have time. Occasional fluff up though is a problem . I just like the variety . There,s so much to it! I am not a good team player with more than 2 people. I think the individuality of it is appealing as well !

I am also a better Tennis player than footballer . Maybe wrongly gave up Basketball because I Couldent handle the intensity . Having said that, I played between the age of about 10 to 12 , maybe 13 . Finding somewhere to play in the uk is tough , somewhere of my standard that is . Arrogent ? No I gave the same dedication to basketball as a pro player probably .

once you grow older, you will apreciate the fact that it is a 'contactless' sport, i.e. you cannot get a sliding tackle from behind.
i love playing football (soccer), but after some time, the risk of getting injured is just too high.

IMO, tennis requires the highest combined level of skill, fitness and mental toughness of any sport.

I played hanball and after years and years of injurieas i stoped it.My lower back were a mess.Now i fell in love with tennis and its in my head every day 24/7. I think the best quote is this: Tennis requires the highest combined level of skill, fitness and mental toughness of any sport!!
