I hope he becomes a slamless #1 after the AO.

I think he's guaranteed 65 at this point (end of AO) but I do see him having most of the year at #1 again

Re: If Djokovic stays the No. 1 until October, he will overtake Nadal...
Djokovic has opportunity to dominate 2013. Anything less than 2 slams and 4 masters would be a disastrous year.
I am predicting:
Nole - 2 slams
Murray - 1 slam
Someone is going to win his first slam

Murray will be lucky to reach another slam final. The wind gods helped him win the USO because they felt bad for him and the Brits, but that's not happening again.

Djokovic is the best tennis player in the world, like it or not. He proved that 2011 was not a "fluke" like Nadal suggested after one of his many defeats. He may lose some finals, but he is playing nearly all of them, whatever the surface.

Why do Fed fans insist on constantly trotting out the number of GS titles, number of weeks at #1, etc.? It reminds me of NY Yankees fans who are always mentioning the number of World Series titles they've won in their history. 99% of Djokovic fans are aware of and respect Fed's accomplishments.

Please point me to where he said that. He said that Djokovic could not play at that level forever and his level would drop. He was right. He did not play at 2011 level in 2012. It was still good enough to win a slam and be no.1 but it was not that crazy level that made him nearly unbeatable. No one said 2011 was a fluke but it was his peak which he is unlikely to repeat. Just like Fed won't repeat 2006 and Nadal won't repeat 2008 - that summer where he just couldn't be beaten on any surface...
Novak has a good shot at surpassing Nadal but to me it's not that significant as it has so much to do with timing - Nadal would have been no.1 from 2005-2010 if it hadn't been for Roger - he earned more points as no.2 than many players in the past did to be no.1. So his lack of time at no.1 has a clear explanation and not something which I would mark him down against vs Novak. He has over 100 which is fine. Slams are what matter for both these guys now.

Well he's spot on this time. The thread is about Novak having a decent shot at Nadal's number of weeks, which is for sure not in the bag, but not completly unrealistic either. Someone adds jokingly "watch out Fed" and all of a sudden there's a whole bunch of Fedtards screaming bloody murder.

Do you ever get tired of what you have to say? Spamming TW not good enough for you?
If I change my gender, start playing Tennis professionally, reach #1 and stay there for six years I will surpass Olderer, Nadull and Djoke. Could happen.
