in the end of the match 8/20 ; after two sets 5/10
source of all that : Davis cup live scores (you can look by set in the bottom of the page : Berdych 4/7 in first set, 1/3 in second set, 3/10 in third set)

Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)
Ferrer proves again that he is clearly the best player on show at the Davis Cup final.
No sets lost against the home side, on their choice of courts and in front of their crowds.
If only Spain had a 2nd Ferrer or he was allowed to play the next match against Stepanek.

Excellent performance by Ferru
Don't know how he's unworthy of his top 5 ranking when he keeps beating those "more deserving players" that are currently ranked lower than him.

Yeah, who's the weak link now?
Berdych even won less games than Stepanek did.

Pretty much what I honestly expected after playing the last 2 days, thought he would get a set though.

I said "honestly".
Of course I wanted Berdych to play really well and beat Ferrer, but after playing 2 long matches the last few days I expected him to lose in 4 to be honest, not that I would say that on MTF.

I think it's difficult to say considering how fatigued Berdych looked.

Will MTF implode if Almagro wins the fifth decisive rubber in the Davis Cup final?

I even told Mark Lenders yesterday Ferrer would win. If I was being honest why would I say Berdych would play like he was playing Federer? We all knew he wouldn't, he doesn't play like that against anyone else.
Anyway Ferrer played well, good for him and Spain. Still hoping the Czechs can take it though.
