Granollers-Lopez are fun to watch, but the Czechs were very solid, esp. Berdych, who has become so strong mentally for a few years.
It's not more in Berdych's hands now than before, it's in the hands of all the players.
Ferrer-Berdych may be a great match, yes.
And if there's a fifth match (which I rather think), Almagro-Stepanek will be enthralling.

I saw the end, great performance from those two, lots of great volleys from big berd. Really hope he can pull it out tommorrow.

I was almost to lose my faith after the 1st set but thank God Czechs took this match. Now Tomas, don't lose any DC ties this year!

Berdych and Stepanek have now won 12 doubles matches out of 13 together in the Davis Cup since they first teamed up in 2007, including 4 wins out of 4 this year. Very impressive stuff. Their only defeat together was against Spain on clay in 2009 final.
The Czechs taking a 2-1 lead into the final day was the best possible scenario for me. Hopefully they can get the job done tomorrow and win their first ever Davis Cup title as an independent nation, and seal the Hopman-Fed-Davis Cup hat-trick.
Nothing against the Spanish team, but they have won this competition 3 times in the last 4 years, and 5 times in the last 12. It's time for someone else to win it.

Really impressed by these two guys and big congrats on their 12-1 doubles record in Davis Cup.
Can history be rewritten and one country gets the Hopman, Fed and Davis Cup titles in a single year ?
