In that case, the only solution is to have an honest conversation with your roommate and find a solution that will suit both I guess.

attending class and keeping the grades up are completely unrelated .We mostly attend our classes for the attendance but most of us follow the live scores during the class . Just wake up early and watch .Your roommate wont trouble you much

I stream matches in class (and comment on MTF) all the time Luckily the Internet connection at my university is usually quite good.

Wow pretty weird to hear that you're not allowed to use laptops in school... unless it's high school, which I understand . In Uni I don't see the point of banning them, I have my laptop with me all the time during lectures.

In Indian colleges ,laptops in class is unheard of .Its allowed in certain schools here too but not in all .In Bahrain laptops were allowed in school as well .Heck we are lucky if the fans run properly in class

Same here, my laptop is always on during class, I'm actually sending this directly from my Fiscal Law lecture at the moment
It's indeed very weird to hear laptops are banned in uni, it does seem quite pointless and does make it harder to follow tennis properly.

Re: Help: How to watch the AO with a roommate?
I don't like going online during class just because of how much classes cost.
But anyways, our classes are so small and are discussion oriented so it would be super obvious.

Ah I see. My lectures are in huge rooms where I'm barely noticed anyway, so I'm almost always online. My parents are paying, so it'd be a bit bad to stay in bed every morning, I just go to uni and use my laptop to avoid boredom for the most part during lectures

the live scores app does make it easy to follow the scores .But there is no fun like watching it unfold in front of your eyes .You really are lucky
