Re: Week 46 : Helsinki (Entry List)
Does Brown have a coach? He has no strategy at all, he has all the shots but no idea how to play smart tennis.

Re: Week 46 : Helsinki (Entry List)
Lacko winning a big match vs Belorussian servebot Ignatik by 6-4, 6-4. Scoreline seems perfect, but it wasn´t that easy. Lukas was very effective when he had a chance on return. Was playing very smart tennis and also showed a big celebration at the end, which he usally doesn´t :-) Zhyrmont should be almost a walking bye for Lukas, quality of Brown-Zhyrmont was soo uncomparable to Lacko-Ignatik. Lacko was playing almost without UEs. Thank God he prevailed that scare against Vinciguerra, that was really tough R1.

Ignatik is nothing but a brutal server. Well done, Lukas.

Re: Week 46 : Helsinki (Entry List)
Lacko def. Ignatik 64 64, after being down 24 in second set. Faces Zhyrmont in QF and Puetz or probably-tired Becker in possible SF. I would say good draw for Slovak to make a final at least.

Re: Week 46 : Helsinki (Entry List)
Igor sucks all season long, this scoreline was expected. End of the season is the best thing for Kunitsyn, he´s so pathetic. Gonna be Nieminen vs Lacko final I guess.

Re: Week 46 : Helsinki (Entry List)
Sela d. Donskoy 6-4, 7-5
Sela played solid and made very few mistakes. Donskoy just needs to learn to come to the net more often against this type of players.

Re: Week 46 : Helsinki (Entry List)
Dlouhy/Mertinak d Heliovaara/Nieminen 63 57 11-9
Jarkko & his horrible partner had two match points, Dlouhy/Mertinak won the last point after Heliovaara missed yet another overhead.

Re: Week 46 : Helsinki (Entry List)
Lacko rock solid vs Zhyrmont(who had really no business being in the QF - Beck and Brown were... just no comment). 6-1, 6-2 is not telling it all, Lacko went 17/18 after 1st serve, 11/13 after 2nd serve and 17/19 after Zhyrmont´s 2nd serve. Almost no UEs by Lukas again. Good training, nothing more.
Lacko vs Becker is gonna be interesting, both are in very good form recently. Lacko will have to find a way against Benni´s good serve (which I can see as very possible) but most of all against Becker´s very simple pushing style. He was playing very simple strokes without absolutely any risks, way over the net and into the middle. But there were almost no UEs vs Puetz, he was very consistent and just waiting for errors and they were coming and coming.
