Re: Disappointment of the Year
For me personally, Roger not winning the WTF. Would have been amazing for me to have watched him win it live.

Re: Disappointment of the Year
yes, Tsonga's loss in the French Open, it means so much for a Frenchman and especially for one whose game is not suited for clay ; he played a great great match ; besides, Tsonga is the nicest French guy hence I felt bad for him.
But also Ferrer's loss in Barcelona : I think that title is the one he wants more or nearly, and he played such a great great and unlucky match. I really hope he wins that title one day, Ferrer bumped so so often to Nadal in that Barcelona final, but when Nadal left the tournament ... it's Verdasco who got it
This match Nadal-Ferrer is very underrated imo.
Finally Del Po's loss in the Olympics, because he fought so so hard and it was another loss against Fed ... but fortunately the big guy got the bronze medal in next match.

What? Because Nadal wasn't there? Does that mean Federer has 14 slams and Sampras has none?

you DO know that Nadal's success and his injury history are intrinsically related, right?

Federer's slams without Nadal are not real slams yes. And you are making the skeleton argument in the 2nd part. Sampras was a diferent era. nadal was a child
