Re: USA politics thread.
I certainly hope he chooses better than he did with his last pick.
I find the Supreme Court as loathsome as Congress though. Especially the way they have handled the death penalty cases. They accept a last minute appeal in a case where nothing that changed since they heard it in court and then take hours and hours to finally deny it. Again, nothing that changed. My stomach turned with how thoughtless and arrogant they have behaved.

Re: USA politics thread.
Let's see an anti-military, anti-gun, far-leftist radical feminazi activist judge.
Although, I'll say she was better than the one before her. If that's any praise at all. At least she was smart enough not to call herself an activist judge.

Re: USA politics thread.
Is California the future of USA? I was there last year and it was really almost apocalyptic experience. Los Angeles should be called Los infiernos or something.
I heard lately it is getting worse for every minute and even silicon valley is ending new investment in California.

Re: USA politics thread.
Why would anyone want to do business in a state that elects someone like Jerry Brown to public office?

I like to walk around and take in everything in everyplace I go, Los Angeles was hell to get through.
You dont even feel like you are in a city, just somekind of urban wasteland.

Re: USA politics thread.
San Francisco is California. Oh, and WEHO. But LA is alright too. Only the strong and fabulous survive, so people of lesser quality won't like it.

That's how LA has always been TBH. It's called a concrete jungle for a reason. There are plenty of beautiful places in California, but it isn't one of them.

Re: USA politics thread.
Actually, LA, like most big cities, has plenty of attractive and safe areas throughout. But the worst elements usually upstage. Cleveland has nice areas, but much of the city looks like it got hit by a nuclear attack. Love to see a politician one day talk about rebuilding the cities before of this other spending.
