Okay, I didn't see your post mid-thread before... anyway, I give numbers - you decide what to take into your list.

I dont´t get the point of this thread. Obviously some players ( like Tipsy and Pashanski) have a habit of sometimes retiring when they are in a losing position even if they are not injured. But that doesn´t mean every player who retires when not leading is doing the same. Take the result above; does anyone here have any idea WHY Dancevic retired?? I don´t think so. In many of these cases the retirement is likely due to an injury, which might well be the reason the player is in a losing position in the first place. So just because Tipsy is a jerk, no need to label every retired player too.

Actually Dancevic is well-known for his erratic behaviour... he retired down 3 MPs against Janowicz, for example.

Unless you know for a fact that the player leading in the bolded matches had a break of serve, Lodra was hardly in a losing position. And even if he was a break down, it´s very questionable to say he was losing. Also, listing futures matches from 1999 doesn´t really seem relevant.

Yes but do you know why he retired in the match you listed? Janowicz-match has nothing to do with it. An erratic player can still get injured. I´m just saying many of these matches deserve the benefit of doubt, unless you ( or someone else) actually has some idea what really happened in a match. The scoreline is hardly relevant by itself.

This thread needs to be moved to the Tipsarevic forum.

That's why I just post blind numbers, and the OP will decide what to include.
