No matter who won this result was going to be bad for the game. Not because of Lopez, but rather because of a certain pushing grunter pusher who shall remain nameless....

Steps and Berdych lost in 2009 to Lopez and Verdasco and their non-DC doubles record is awful.

The Spaniards deserved a Big Title. Both Paes and Bhupathi reached the finals at least 4 times, yet haven't won it. Would have been a different story if Paes and Stepanek would have been in Final. I Hope the Spaniards continue this form in next year.
