My brother is married to a Scotswoman and lives in Scotland. 
One of his sisters-in-law is quite a supporter of Scottish independence. |

Lo and behold, I've cheered for a Chinese guy before. One of my best friends is of full Chinese origin. Doesn't change my feelings about them as a country.
