Yes. Against Safin he has a great record (although most matches were pretty close, at least before 2006).

The only player from his generation who managed to have a respectable H2H against Federer was Nalbandian probably. Federer leads 11-8 (won the last 3, they were 8-8).

Noserer vs Del Mugtro H2H

I bet those two titles in New York and Basel stung like hell

It really stopped being a rivalry once Federer grew up, 10 wins 3 losses from 2004 onwards

Cool, the first match between these two top players took place in my home town Djokovic then went on to win the tournament as a 17 year old qualifier, it was his first title! Too bad the challenger doesn't exist any more...

it really does speak volumes of how good Roddick was, for many seasons he beat the majority of the rest of the tour consistantly but his bogey man was Roger.
can't reiterate or mention enough that if Roddick played in another era think he would have won a handful of slams. early Roddick of 2003-2006 I think would have had massive success in the 90s
obviously he reverted afterwards do just doing a nonstop slicing brain mash thing BUT really it's always tough when you keep having to face and play in the same era as the best of best of all time
