If Del Potro wins today in 2, I think he will win here too. It will be the night match presumably and Federer will want to preserve his aging body for the semis vs Murray/Nole. The last time he engaged in a slugfest with Delpo before facing Murray didn't go so well and this time he won't even have a day rest.
Unless Tipsy beats Ferrer (which he might), in which case this match will be a dead rubber with both guys already qualified.

Yeah, but unless Tsonga or Berdych pull the unexpected in the other group, it's hardly relevant to win the group imo. Don't think any of these two has any particular preference when it comes to facing Murray or Djokovic |

I do think Federer may take this as a practice match as I believe he is now certain to qualify.

If Federer plays Murray most of the crowd will support Murray, but against Djokovic I would expect Federer to have most of the crowd support.

Federer should want to be 2nd in the group so he can play Djokovic instead of Berdych/Murray, but I dont think tanking is an option with his mindset.
