Re: London WTF 2012 RR: Federer def. Ferrer 64 76(5)
That was absolutely horrific.
Any of the other top guys would have routed Federer today but instead Ferrer found a way to lose in straights.

Re: London WTF 2012 RR: Federer def. Ferrer 64 76(5)
Fed very very sloppy today. I still have this weird feeling that his back is not feeling well because he is missing so many serves and was sloppy on the backhand and off the high forehands too. I just feel like he is not staying low enough on many of his shots and not extended up to the serve.

It's not in his hands anyway; if Del Potro beats Tipsy in 2 and beats Federer (which he might especially considering Federer is already qualified and will have a semi hours later so might want to preserve his aging body), he will qualify regardless of what Ferrer does.

Hopefully those two stay active for couple of years more so Federer can make him his ostrich.

The n.5 player in the world playing his best tennis yet he can't win a set vs Noserer playing at 30%.

This was quite poor from Federer. Maybe he should have skipped Basel along with Paris.

Re: London WTF 2012 RR: Federer def. Ferrer 64 76(5)
People saying it was a horrible match. Yes, in terms of consistency it was. Assuming the result was NID, Roger played some brilliant tennis at times. I hope he doesn't bring on the consistency until the semis and to be fair, I am not sure if Djokovic would be tougher than Muzz for Fed.

Re: London WTF 2012 RR: Federer def. Ferrer 64 76(5)
Very expected result. Feel a bit for Ferrer, he doesn't believe in himself enough. Especially not vs Federer (or Nadal on clay).
Roger rolls on. Now win against Delpo as well please.

Also 70 wins for the season. Hats off. Has this been done by a 31 old before?

No. If Del Potro beats Tipsarevic and Federer in straight sets he'll make the semi-finals. If Del Potro beats both but drops a set in either he'll be 2-1 on matches and 5-3 in sets and assuming Ferrer beats Tipsarevic he'll also be 2-1 on matches and 5-3 in set and and will take the place over Del Potro based on him winning the match between the pair.
