Juška defeats Struff 3:6, 6:3, 6:2

What a win for Andis This was only 3rd time in 2011 and 2012 seasons combined when he was able to qualify for a challenger main draw (0-2 before today), and now he got a really favorable draw and, despite not playing his best, managed to grab the win.

Both were holding very easily in the 1st set until *3:4, when Juška threw his usual brainfart service game. It was 15/15, then he made a wild FH error and followed with a double fault. Then Struff hit a good FH return right in Juška's feet, and that was it for the 1st set.

There was a very important moment in the 2nd set at *3:3, when Juška was 0/40 on serve. After bombing in four good 1st serves he maneged to crawl his way back into the game and after 2 or 3 deuces he managed to hold. Then Struff gifted away his service game by couple poor errors, and Juška served it out without many troubles.

3rd set started with some Struff's errors once again, Juška didn't have to do anything special, but got a nice cushion of 2 breaks, which he held in a rather comfortable way till the end of the match.

Great win and I am very happy Although, I was shaking my head a lot about Juška's defensive play. It is shitty, but today it was worse than usual, but thankfully it was a good serving day with a limited amount of brainfarts.

He doesn´t seem to care, but the "sucky junior" is coached by Magnus Norman and are currently ranked 33 in ITF juniors rankings, way better then Zemlja ever reached, and he´s only 16 Watch out for the YMER brothers!

this reminds me when mahut lost to janowicz in wroclaw a few years back... janowicz also played one of his first senior matches ever, so you could say a top junior (much better than this swedish boy) showed talent, but the fact is, mahut was absolutely unbothered

and it looks a similar case here

surely the kid can develop (and even maybe win junior slams in 2 years) but no way on earth he's good enough to beat players like zemlja while he cant even beat decent U-18 players.

Is Ymer supposed to be a top prospect or something, cause he managed to score a WC here and this is only his 2nd pro match, he wasn't a top junior or anything, but maybe he's supposed to be a better pro?

He's a pretty good player but no, he's not an elite prospect. I've seen him before this and I think he's too small to be a force in the ATP.

Well he is a young player, so he will probably grow at least a bit.

Going by his match today, he could be a good player in the future.
