With the cost of tennis at Futures and Challenger level, especially Futures where you could potentially win the tournament and still not break even for the week, with travel, accommodation, stringing, equipment and coaching taken into acount (who can afford a coach) it is not surprising that players drop out.
Michael Look is also contemplating foregoing the game for greener pastures, and most probably is not the only other Aussie on the tour thinkin gthe same.
Prize money has been the same at Futures level for at least the last 8 years. Ridiculous.
Either you crack the top 100 quickly or it is a very hard road.
