the special exempt was cleared and Berlocq is in.
Smucav as Amirbachar asked in the rankings thread why didn't Mathieu get the SE ? he could have had 10 points if losing in first round, as a WC he will get zero point.
Didn't he ask for it ?
Or did his previous wild-card situation prevent it ?

Wasn't he still playing his match at the time of the main draw? If so, he wouldn't want to decline the wild card to take a chance on earning the SE spot. I think he would only do that if the was the first alternate. If he lost his match, he wouldn't be in the draw at all (as a wild card, SE, or alternate). |
