Well apparently it is. I did read the OOP, but just copied the matches that I needed to pick.
I don't think TT is meant for walkovers/byes. In Grand Slams assistant managers often forward picks to the 'general' manager. So shouldn't those picks be counted as well, as they weren't send to the right manager? I feel that if there's more than 1 manager in a tournament, picks should be accepted if the player can show the time stamp. If for example Mahqz had been managing this tournament all week and on Thursday I decided to send my picks out of the blue to Boarder35m, then I think this is a different story, but in this case I feel really hard done.

That's true, although on some occasions one manages singles, the other doubles. Would picks for singles count, if you only send to the 'doubles' manager.
Some tournaments outside Grand Slams are also managed by more than one manager. i.e. Shanghai was managed by keqtqiadv and he was assisted by Tytta. So would someone be disqualified if he'd just sent to Tytta and not to keqtqtiadv and Tytta (as the order of play stated)?
I think those thinks shouldn't even be considered. We all play for the love of this game and to compete (not to have walkovers). I think we should be a little more lenient in situations where there is more than one manager involved in a tournament. I am not talking about picks that are sent to other players, as I don't feel those should count (even when in time). I argue though that picks should be counted when picks are sent to a manager (albeit the 'wrong' manager) who is active during that week in that tournament.

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012
The person that helps a manager post the OOP cannot be expected to be around at the deadline.
So sending to the wrong person prevents the real manager from posting differences correctly.
OOP's are tricky because there is no set time for their release. For example, the current Buenos Aires OOP was not posted until 1am local time. If the manager had lived around that timezone, he may have asked someone else to post the OOP so he could sleep!
But then the helper who was around to post at 1am local may not be around at noon local because it's something like 5am where he is.
So send to the right person!

Here's a problem, Lazyking is scheduled to manage Champaign CH but he hasn't been around lately I'm not sure if he'll be back to manage... Hopefully I'm wrong though. But the thread should be opened today, correct?

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012
Yes sure but do we have an official ranking at this time?
And what about those you lose there spot after the final? Can they play anywhere else?

As far as singles are concerned, I am particularly interested in this point!
I am currently #8 in the race, but any one of about 8 players could overtake me if I do badly in Paris and they do well.
Can I commit to London and also make an "In if out of WTF" commitment to one of the challengers?

Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012
I just notice that the final of doubles of Porto Allegre won with two missing picks from the adverse team
We have to do something about this.. It's just totally horrible!
PS: Champain & Yokohama not open yet? What happens?

keqtqiadv wrote me a PM that the board is talking about that point at the moment.

Speaking as a player - I couldn't agree with you more.
This is a topic up for discussion in the Changes thread

I'm also in a position where my team will probably have to make the Paris doubles final to stand a chance of making year ends.
We're currently discussing this.
