Grassquet FTW - seems impossible to control that shot the way he did.

Massive moment, massive point, ebb and flow, and of course, the mental strength of the Serbian shining through. Point beginning at 11:45 in this video

Important, but boring point ending on an error. They've had hundreds of more entertaining rallies this year alone.

Paire hit two great shots here. Unfortunately the quality is terrible.

Yes, for anyone who plays and understands tennis this shot is insane, hard to believe, but for some reason it doesn't look that spectacular.

But it's indeed a really hard one to pull off

The most entertaining game of tennis, not necessarily the best. The last one starting at 1:46 looks like a candidate.

I remember this match, pure entertainment.

But the first point in this one is more spectacular imo and defo deserves a top position in the year rankings

yep, hitting dtl from that position is much harder than cc

This is what you say about an intense, pulsating 20+ shot rally including both men taking risks, flattening out shots, moving about the court using angles, spin and pace; which ended with a fantastic and brave forehand down the line (winner in all but name, the ball was essentially un-returnable). Which points do not bore you? This point can surely only be boring to those who hate tennis played from the baseline. I can't, off the top of my head, think of a better point played from the baseline all year.

Gasquet has every reason to celebrate like that after this shot.
