After all these years, I remember to look here on here and Sjengster's already got it updated!
When you started this thread, Federer only had 6 titles...who would have thought he would reach 70?
Nice way to finish 2011

Re: The Great Big Super-Duper Title Resource Thread
I just did a huge update of this thread for the second half of 2011 about two hours ago, not sure how I missed the Vienna title - will add now.

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.
Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?
ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: The Great Big Super-Duper Title Resource Thread
While I'm at it, even though it's several years too late I must thank Yves for quoting my entire first post in this thread back in 2008, as I managed to delete just about all of it by accident and had to paste it back in from his post. I would not have relished the prospect of trying to do it all again from scratch....

A fun statistic: Most wins with no title on one type of court:
Most without clay: Boris Becker 49
Most without grass: Thomas Muster 44
Most without indoor HC: Andres Gomez 21
Most without outdoor HC: Wojtek Fibak 15

Re: The Great Big Super-Duper Title Resource Thread
http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Ten...000-Title.aspx
"In saving five match points to defeat two-time defending Shanghai Rolex Masters champion Andy Murray on Sunday, Novak Djokovic made ATP World Tour Masters 1000 history. The World No. 2 became the first player to win seven of the current Masters 1000 crowns, surpassing Roger Federer. The Swiss has won seven overall, with six of the events currently on the calendar. Djokovic and Federer also have the distinction of being the only players to reach all nine finals of the current Masters 1000 events."
