Default Vienna R1: Gulbis def Devvarman 7-6 6-3

How did Devvarman even get into the main draw?

It may be encouraging to some that Devvarman played a tiebreak with someone whose serve is 10 times better than him, but a loss is a loss.

Devvarman has no say whatsoever if Ernesto is playing well. Hope he can end the season well.

Playing a tie-break against Mugvvarman 2.0 is beyond pathetic! Mugbis to crash out next round to Mugsarevic, most likely a double bagel.

Well that's a relief.

If he barely ekes it out against the world number 579, then he should easily take out the world number 9 tomorrow. It's Gulbis after all.

Stars are aligning, we may get the ridiculous R3 we've all been waiting for...
