Re: Fall Season: Hoping for a good finish
You're right, he has a lot of work to do this off-season.

Re: Fall Season: Hoping for a good finish
Yep told u - he lost in straight sets to Kohlschreiber 4 and 4. Even though it was only one break of serve per set - a loss is a loss.

Lets all hope and pray he can get past the first round in the main draw (assuming he qualifies)

Re: Fall Season: Hoping for a good finish
Grant Doyle announced that he'll not work with Ryan Harrison in 2013.
Wonder who will be the new couch..

Doubt it....would be huge for Ryan but Larry might be out of his pay grade. Something has got to change though, he's not getting better fast enough.

Re: Fall Season: Hoping for a good finish
Doesn't Larry Stefanki turn players into pushers? Ryan is already doing a lot of that, he needs someone to make him more aggressive.

Davis Cup (USA vs. Brazil) in Jackson next year. Ryan was mentioned by Captain Jim.
“We were very happy to draw a home match. This could be a great opportunity for players like John (Isner), Sam (Querrey) and Ryan (Harrison) to experience a home court advantage for the first time in their Davis Cup careers.”

Re: Fall Season: Hoping for a good finish
I hope he hires a quality coach like Brad Gilbert- he needs to learn how to win. SO he withdrew from Basel? Not good - something is going in the Harrison camp - oh well he is blowing a huge opportunity to pick up plus atp points.

Larry Stefanki, who coached the recently retired Andy Roddick, is likely to be considered a candidate to coach Harrison, who is extremely close to Roddick and trusts his advice. Harrison may also decide to go back to USTA coaching
