Yeah. It shows he is always a contender for the slams. Aside from his one win he has also come close on many other ocasions unlike Del Potro.
As for whose win was most impressive, it is close. Beating Nadal/Federer back to back is an amazing achievement. However, considering the circumstances I still give the edge to Murray. After what he had been through in other slam finals and been 2 sets up in this one before getting taken back to 2-2 against someone with Djokovic's reputation for come backs/winning long matches, to do what he did in that 5th set was incredible.

I feel Delpo beating Fedal back to back was more impressive, but Murray paid his dues more. What else has Delpo done apart from the US Open?

I think beating Djokovic in a hard-court slam is more impressive.
However Del Potro certainly won his in a thunderous and entertaining style.

Delpo's Gs was more impressive. That's a fact.

+1
The more "impressive" one was Delpo's though, because it was a bigger surprise, slaughtered Nadal/ beat Federer in 2 days.

Both players deserved the title but I'm far more impressed with Del Potro. You cannot argue with that.

This.
For me with Murray it's more of a begrudging deservedness with him gradually getting closer over the years, whereas with Del Potro it was an inarguably impressive performance.

Delpo's. First man to beat Fedal back to back in a Slam.
Hope he can fully overcome his injuries, peak and go one step further and become the first man to beat Federer, Nadal and Djokovic back to back in a Slam
