I wonder which of the 2 Fed would rather in SF, Murray or Berdych... I'm thinking Murray on an indoor court. Djoko will have a hell of a job beating Berdych here.

Shanghai is outdoors and Nole will most likely not play Berdych in semis.

That's right.Berdy reaches SF and plays well only when he's in Fedmug's draw.

Even if he was in Federer's draw, I'd seriously doubt his chances of going through Kei and Tsonga back to back, especially seen as Kei is a bad matchup for him. The draw really hasn't been kind to him, he has by far the toughest quarter among the top 4 seeds.

OP made the thread too early because he misunderstood when the draw was going to be. Then when it came out I just posted it this thread rather than making a new one. Sorry if I got the format wrong.

Nishikori - Wu in R1
I hope the Chinese crowd won't get political and all that kind of craziness going on lately.

Very possible, but Andy can not choke the way he did against Milos, if wants to win this. Considering Andy's record here though, and even with Federer's draw to the sf. Nole/Andy final most likely.
