no, no .... the correct score should be 6:0, 6:0. You are 17yo, but really acting as a toddler (I mean that's where your intelect is). well, have a nice day

Djokovic gifted him that US Open final. Murray's real slam count is still 0. Inferior player won, superior player lost.

Actually, you're incorrect here, as usual. Toddlers can't string coherent sentences together let alone write them out and use the internet

The correct score is 6-2 6-2, that second set was a gift. End of story.

Actually, that's incorrect. If you're talking about the wind, there was no wind in the last set. Who won that one? Also, both players were playing in the wind, not just poor old Djokovic Murray struggled with the wind too, yet he won because he was better. Too bad, Djoko/Nadaltards

Try again.

You're both wrong here. Wawrinka was the better player in the 2nd set and deserved to win it, and Murray was the better player throughout the match against Djokovic. From experience, being extremely unbiased about things comes in handy sometimes.

After that diabolical tweener attempt I almost wanted Stan to win - one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on a tennis court.

Still, Andy won in the end.

Agreed. Stan played far better than he's getting credit for in this thread.

Funniest thing was on another thread, someone claiming Murray still had 0 grand slams because Nadal didn't play the US Open.. Guess we should've just cancelled every tournament since Wimbledon. Roger's Wimbledon win still counts I suppose

You assume I'm biased. I'm not biased, I post the truth. Andy gifted that set, that's all.

You call yourself an Andy fan? Haha!

When you're playing against an inferior opponent and you're winning, you might as well try a little trick shot here and there, even if it fails badly.

Stan played very well in set 2 but anyone who doesn't think that the game he broke Murray's serve was a gift couldn't have been watching.

Nothing new here, Murray usually struggles with Wawa but ends up winning.

I've noticed that Murray struggles to pick the direction and nature of Stan's serve more than he does many other players and he can struggle with Stan's kick serve out wide in the ad court.

Andy might as well have some fun, he's had more pressure on his shoulders this summer than any other player on tour. He deserves to relax a bit and enjoy the fruits of his labour during the Asian swing.

In fact I'd like to see him try more new things against Raonic.

Well a) he wasn't winning the match at this point, it was quite close early in the third set and not the time to be trying silly trick shots, I'd think, and b) if they come off you get the praise, if they don't you look really dumb, and this wasn't even close.

Still, I hope he got it out of his system now
