he can`t won outside clay since 2010 , the worst year in tennis of the last years.
he is the only man of lost many slam finals with the same guy of all history , a titan really......
even in clay he never faced great competition even gaudio and coria were out and fed-nole are fast court specialist , not clay.

Pretty much. Nadal took advantage of the 2008-2010 era to win his slams off clay. Federer was past his peak and before Djokovic hit his peak. Don't expect him to win any slams off clay anymore. Peak Djokovic stopped him since 2011 and now he will have to deal with peak Murray as well at AO/Wimbledon/USO. Back to being a clay court specialist for Nadal.

Re: Toni: "When facing Roger the idea was always to slow down the points"
Nadal fluked slams in a weak clay era, vultured titles in 2010 off a bunch of mugs, clownish behaviour allowed him a career grand slam. Hewitt beat Nadull 4 times, illustration of fluke player Rafo is. Toni sucess in mafia style secured Nadal more RG than Borg but not without trade off with devil. No Borg like hair for Nadal in 50s, but extra dental imprint on priceless trophy leaving french tennis bankrupt caused Gasquet to snort and forced to leave for some time. Mugpras began the process in 97 and tennis riped new hole ever since.

Re: Toni: "When facing Roger the idea was always to slow down the points"
I had not noticed that he was any slower than usual between points; he often breaches the time rules between points.

Well, if you look at slams from 2008, Nadal won 8 slams, Federer 5, Djokovic 5 and Murray 1.
So peak Nadal only won 3 more slams than Olderer in 5 years.
What a spartan.

Why is the thread about Nadullpig's cheating turning into a Fedhater thread? Obviously, because no normal person would support DULL unless they hate Federer.

Re: Toni: "When facing Roger the idea was always to slow down the points"
So What Toni says is Rafa can not win against Federer because he is too good so we need to cheat in unfair way to win. That just shows what kind of classy people they are.If you do not have a shame to do that when million of people watching you what are you ready to do when no one is able to see you so that you can reach your aim Team Nadal?!
Does Toni feel himself proud or he wants to say we are above any rules?!

Who is Rafa's true rival on clay prior to Djokovic's emergence in 2011 then? If you discount Fed's wins over Hewitt and Roddick because he owns them, then you can't consider Fed a rival for Nadal since he owns him on clay.

Tsonga, Almagro, Wawrinka and Baghdatis also played that tournament the same year.
Nadal won the tournament next year in 2000. Murray lost the final in 2001 to the unknown today Alexandre Krasnoroutski (Djokovic had lost in quarters, Del Po in R16)
Gasquet is the youngest winner the tournament has ever had. The second one was the much hyped Spaniard Carlos Boluda-Purkiss in 2006.

Obviously. They're all misguided trolls who haven't seen the light yet.

Oh that was five years ago. And Rafa is five years younger. 26 is just the age when your body is done with tennis.

25/26 is just the age when male tennis players reach their peak. (Not Nadal obviously because of injury.)
