Re: World Group final: Spain at Czech Republic (November 16-18, 2012)
Ferrer should play the other 2 single matches.
In doubles of course it would be Marc Lopez and Granollers.
I believe F. Lopez should play against Berdych because of the the great H2H he has against him (4-3 including 2-0 on hard courts), and despite the fact he lost 3 matches in a row.
In the 5th rubber I think it should be Granollers against Stepanek.

They should've gone with the fastest possible surface... Interesting stuff though!

Re: World Group final: Spain at Czech Republic (November 16-18, 2012)
Tennis on ice is what we expect in Rep Czech more or less.
Apart from this Navratil is 'absolutely sure' that Feliciano will play singles. As Amir said Feli has a good H2H against Berdych but Corretja won't leave Almagro out the team, he won important matches against USA and deserves to play this final. Confidence on Feli has to be enormous to take this decission, Almagro isn't that kind of guy who understand easily a new role in the team only two days before starting.
If Feli plays and his serve works as usual when is motivated on ultra-fast courts he can hold on it and we'll see two or three sets deciding in tie breaks (exactly same as Muzza's match in USOpen'12).

Re: World Group final: Spain at Czech Republic (November 16-18, 2012)
Feli is out. Expected, i don't know why Czechs thought he would be playing.
Not a good atmosphere in the team, Feli wanted to play and Almagro is a bad player on fast courts as everybody knows, his 2 points are almost lost obviously. Too much pressure on Ferru and M&M's, they should perform in their best ways to have real chances.
Most complicated final in last 12 years for us for sure. With Nadal on court all would be pretty diferent.

For me Stepanek - Ferrer is a more interesting match. If Steps wins this tie will be finished, is a Davis Cup point for czechs.
Berdych-Almagro will be 3-0 or maybe 3-1 in 2h.

I don't think Stepanek is going to trouble Ferrer too much. In Paris Ferrer easily dismantled Llodra after some 5 service games.

This court is much faster than Paris, reaction time is shorter. Although is one of the best returners in the circuit Ferrer had problems in Clemont Ferrand (similar court) first sets agaisnt Monfils in 2010. I hope 3-2 Ferrer suffering a lot but tiring Step, it'd be a good score.
