And not sure if you have ever watched younger Federer, because he certainly did fist pump.
Young Federer is not peak Federer. Young Federer was very emotional, and got angry very quickly, but Roger phased that out of his game when he became more mature. He even said himself that he went too far in this, and needed to show more emotion again (was in an interview with him a while back on tv, don't know when exactly).

Good luck trying to find a player that NEVER does one of those things. Out of all the players, peak Federer definitely was one of the guys who showed the least emotion on court

What does that have to do with the fact that prime Federer did fist pump?

Well if you don't know that I can't help you.
let me try: Federer admits he didn't show enough emotions (fist pumps, allezs, come ons that sort of stuff) on court during his prime. And you were the one that brought young Federer up out of nowhere, who wasn't even discussed.
His respect and attitude during his loss to Djokovic in Paris won me over as a fan.
I hardly gave a shit about him before that match, but I've never seen anybody remain so calm and cool and collected during an occasion where most people would probably scream, break several rackets, swear, launch balls into the crowd, and act like a complete and utter asshole

Murray couldn't express it much better than that... he looks so relieved like someone who takes a powerful laxative to free himself from years of severe constipation.

You know as well as I do that I was referring to a prime Federer, who was young, in his prime... but you're just being as awkward as you normally are
Why would saying "Allez" and shaking your fist around for a couple of seconds help his case during his prime? Maybe then he wouldn't have lost 5 matches but 4? Seems about right.
if some posters on here appeared in Federer's eyesight they would cause him to fist pump....
...into their face!
