Matt had a good win over 5th seed Baker winning 6-4 1-6 7-5, im not 100% sure but i think he was down 4-5 in the third too so good come back win from Matty!

Matt Reid wins 1st round in Aptos with a gutsy 75 06 76(3) win over Tsung-Hua Yang. 
Did well to recover from that bagel. 
Faces up against Bradley Klahn, who knocked off the No.1 seed Igor Andreev. |

Heh heh - Matt shows some great ticker and steals the match at the death from Amir Weintraub. Won the first, serving well, 6-4, lost the second 4-6, serving poorly, saves 5 of 7 break-points, converting 2 of 4 on his serve to get to the tie-break. On serve at 4-5, loses the point to face match point at 4-6. Saves the first mp on his serve, saves the second on Weintraub's serve to level and change at 6-6. Breaks Weintraub again and serves out the tb 8-6 to win the match.
True blue Aussie maaaate.
Plays Yuichi Sugita next and has an even chance of reaching the semis.
