Btw, maybe Marcel has a chance to play singles in the Olympics now. But tbh, I think F.López would be a better choice on grass, even if I dislike him and he lost in first round at Wimbledon this year.

Thanks. Well I was thinking about Almagro and Verdasco too. Especially Verdasco.
I think Marc Lopez can't play, players must play two years in DC or something, Marc Lopez played in this year only.
Feli will play doubles too, with Ferrer. Oh well I don't know. Of course I would like to see Marcel

I thought Granollers had a frosty relationship with Verdasco?

Every Spanish player is a friend of everyone I guess
Anyway they played a doubles match together, it wasn't so bad.

Re: Marcel in 2012 - Gstaad
Marcel will play doubles with Marc López at the London Olympics He wasn't selected to play singles, but good to see he'll be able to play the Olympics with his regular partner in the ATP tour.
Sonja, I'm not sure that rule about Davis Cup is true. Two examples are Donald Young, who is playing the Olympics while has never played DC with USA, and Ryan Harrison, who made his DC debut this year, just like Marc.

It's weird. Never mind, I'm happy for them.
Marcel and Marc won the doubles final in Gstaad

Marcel beat Stakhovsky and Florian Mayer, playing against Chardy at third round of Toronto Masters
It is Marcel's first Rogers Cup btw, nice debut
And it's raining

Re: Marcel in 2012 - Toronto
He's definitely liking Toronto - first Masters QFs in singles while he and Marc are in the doubles final.

Re: Marcel in 2012 - Toronto
aww man...they lost their finals against the bryan bros. and they had a match point. Marcel was clearly upset when he hit it long. But still- it's amazing they went this far on a hard court for masters. I love how Marcel said Marc was his best friend!
