Re: Week 39 : Madrid (Entry List)
Sad to hear Alcaide retired
I've seen him a couple of years ago at Brasov, he was a fairly decent player and a nice guy.

Re: Week 39 : Madrid (Entry List)
Good win by Pedro Sousa. He's certainly not lacking for talent but will he ever put it together...

He's starting to put it together now, that's why he's winning these matches and gaining a set to Haider-Maurer last week.
He'll end up the year in top 200 for sure.

I didn't see them play too much, but Pedro Sousa is definetely amongst the most talented. Gastăo Elias has been one of the best Juniors of his generation, but injuries have stopped his progression. And now Frederico Silva is the new hope for portuguese tennis fans, he recently won the US Open in doubles Junior.

Re: Week 39 : Madrid (Entry List)
Elias and Pedro Sousa are for sure the most talented players from Portugal. And Portugal as in the next 2 generations 88/89/90 and 94/95 lots of interesting players.
