I woke up at 4 am and was starving but didn't eat until 8 am when it was time for breakfast. I think I'm immune to jetlag - I don't feel anything out of the ordinary apart from the usual fatigue that I feel when I wake up too early.

I fully agree. I mean, who would you be wearing your clothes for? Just getting them wrinkled, smelly and worn out for no reason. And not just in +30 - my apartment's heating is very strong, it's usually very toasty in the winter.

Before I do my multiquote, can one of the Brits in this thread help me with something? I just bought a stainless steel kettle to boil water and no matter how many times I boil and pour away the water, my water has this film of chalky white substance at the top when I pour it out into a mug.

IS THIS NORMAL??? Has this got something to do with the hard water thing (first time ever I've heard of this)? I'm dying of thirst right now but afraid to drink the water. I don't want to die.

I don't speak Italian too, but I'm still going. I really want to see Rome - been wanting to see the Coliseum for the longest time, and there's also the tennis to attend, so it sounds like a trip that I cannot pass up.

Thanks. By the way, I watched The Dark Knight Rises 5 times, 3 times in IMAX. There was this Dark Knight trilogy marathon in Singapore and I went for that. It was so awesome.

How long has the water been boiling? Seem to me there would have to be serious evaporation for any kind of mineral buildup to occur.

How about posting a pic of the phenomenon? If it's a matter of life and death, a visual might prove helpful.
