Re: Chat thread
This chat thread should not be this dead!
as for the USO, for some reason I was a lot more excited about the Olympics...like for days afterwards I could just think about it and magically feel happy. The US Open is awesome but in my head the Olympics is always going to feel more like his first slam.
Also even though I've posted in this forum intermittently for like 7 years I don't think I've ever introduced myself - hi, my name is August, I'm a random guy in New Zealand

Re: Chat thread
You'd think winning the olympics and US Open would make us Murray fans a bit louder huh?
We're as understated as Andy is. Like player like fan..
Could always start a new chat thread.

Re: Chat thread
It's always been quiet in here - most Murray fans I know are not big on MTF.
For me the US Open win was a vindication of his win at the Olympics - without it there would always have been those who doubted his legitimacy. But for me, winning Gold on Centre Court at Wimbledon at the only home Olympics we're ever likely to see was huge, and the manner in which he did it was incredible.

Best Tennis summer ever by a long way. Strangely I don't know any Andy fans, just glory hunting Rog lovers

You know me you just probably wish you didn't You also know The Bulldog, TigerTim, Chirag, and Andy, of course, has a Moderator for a fan in scoobs! So think of us as a small, but mighty group

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned...
