I would love for El Buitre to take on some stuff at RM. Surely he couldn't do worse than Valdano or Zidane...

The Special One got rid of Valdano. As for Zidane, only reason he left Juve was cause his wife is Spanish and we normally know who the true bosses are in relationships.
Dimi Berbatov he had the chance to go to Juve or Fiorentina, but ends up at Fulham because of his girlfriend.

Belgium had a good team back them. Individually, they may have been less talented as the current crop but they were a "team", fighting for each other, united, focused. The current crop is overpaid and too busy becoming stars to be part of a national "team". Each player that wasn't willing to put himself on the line for the sake of the team, was thrown out. Vandereycken once was sent home in the middle of a WC for openly criticising Scifo for example. Granted, Vandereycken had a point when he said that Scifo needed stop being a prancing pony and start functioning as a team player but he shouldn't have openly criticised his team mate like that.
We need somebody like Jan Ceulemans now. He was a rock for the Belgian team and he's a great, great guy.
|
I know it was a great team, I saw that!
Ceulemans is a great guy? Good to hear that.

WG!
So Butragueño is RM's sportig director, good.
WG, I just read Mancini suggested Mou (The Only One) should send Cron back to Portugal for 6 months.
I'm such a casual footie follower now, I used to be a freak fangirl back then.

Yes, maria. He looks so dashing in a suit. And he's the master of giving awesomely PC quotes in response to farca's provocations.
Uhoh. Mancini has unleashed the beast. The mou presser will be a cracker today

So Geneva want their tournament to be an ATP 250 from 2015 on? Rosset is working on that to happen it seems. Well, 3 ATP tournaments for SUI would be quite a lot, but since they seem to be back up by the sponsors I guess it could happen.

I remember the old Geneva event, well it's not like the city is a poor one.
