Re: Canadian Juniors
I don't understand why di Feo and Schnur wouldn't play the G2 going on at the same time.

Re: Canadian Juniors
Di Feo clearly looks like he belongs in the G1.

Re: Canadian Juniors
Francoise Abanda won her match this morning 7-6 7-6 over the 15 seed, remember she is only 15.

Re: Canadian Juniors
The barely Canadian Tommy Mylnikov was a semifinalist in last week's U16 US National Clay Championships. I was surprised to see him playing U16, because a) he is born in 1995 (I guess in the US they go by age, not year of birth), and b) he already won a quite prestigious international U16 title (Eddie Herr) so why bother?
Anyway he seems to do quite well on clay.
I wonder whether Tennis Canada is in touch with him at all.

Re: Canadian Juniors
Good week for Di Feo and Schnur, respectfully champion and finalist in the G2 in Montreal this week. Especially encouraging for Schnur who has been struggling since having an injury this summer.
And Mylnikov put in some time in Canada and got to the semifinals.

Re: Canadian Juniors
Good show overall at the Pan Am Championships, Canadians won three of the four draws, and Di Feo made the final in the boys singles. Not really sure how strong the field was, but still good results

Re: Canadian Juniors
Yeah, Di Feo looks to be pretty good, he was the #4 seed, so to make the final is quite nice, there were at least 3 players better than him, in rank anyhow.
