i think palermo challenger is cancelled

prob it's good, the top 100 and below players this week will fit in 2 mug ATPs in metz and st pete, so szczecin the big clay challenger can have a field of 42K  and there's also hardcourt in izmir for different type of players, and trnava 64K that will suffer the most who could have 3-4 good players and futures fill-in. there's also campinas in south america, but there are the usual suspects. now the european clay events should be stronger and have better quallies

Ljubljana was disappointing they fucked it up. They have 3 Slovenes in the top 100 and couldn't get it together for a challenger. Maybe next year.

From: The atp site: (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tournaments/Challenger-Tour.aspx)

"SEOUL TITLE KEEPS LU IN POLE POSITION
Yen-Hsun Lu won his second Samsung Securities Cup Challenger in Seoul last week when he beat Yuichi Sugita 6-3, 7-6(4) in the final. Lu, who beat Kevin Anderson for the 2010 title, has won four ATP Challenger Tour titles this year and leads the 2012 ATP Year-To-Date Challenger Rankings."

 Wut?

Just great. If Bellucci wins this, the winner of the challenger finals is a guy who has played one challenger all year. I would understand if they gave the Wild Card to the defending champion or something, but this is just sad...

Next year, give the WC to Ferrer and kill off this tournament right away. Saves everybody some trouble.
