6-0 actually :-)
He's been very, very good at slam tiebreaks lately, 19-4 in 2011/2012.

Congratulations Murray! I'm so happy for him that he finally managed to win a slam. He certainly deserved it.

Also those assuming Nadal being here would mean no USO for Andy- if he takes Ferrer's seeding spot, given the events that unfolded, it probably would have been even easier for Murray (imagine Djoker and Nadal grinding for 6 hours and then comeback to face a fresh Murray the next day)

Well done Andy. Djokovic reverting to his old gamesmanship, calling for the trainer at a crucial moment, thought he'd grown up, obviously not.

Re: USO Final: Murray beats Djokovic 7-6(10) 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2
Wow, so pleased that Andy has finally managed to win one. I watched the match right up until 0-2 in the 4th set when I started to get that sinking feeling. I went to bed at that point fully expecting to wake up and see that Novak had yet again performed a minor miracle and won in 5, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that Andy somehow halted the momentum and held tough mentally to win. I can't wait to watch the replay highlights of the 4th/5th sets later.
All those haters who said Andy wasn't a good enough player and would never win a slam must now eat humble pie. Of course they wont go away and I suspect it will now be Murray's appearance/personality (i.e doesn't play with a beaming smile or smarm the press like Federer) that those people will use as an excuse to attack him.
I actually think this is good for tennis. We now have a "big 4" and of course this will encourage others (Del Potro, Ferer, Berdych, etc)to believe that they can also pull off a slam win. As good as Novak , Roger and Rafa are it is dull watching them win every slam all the time.

I suppose that Olympics gold did wonders for his confidence. Congrats Andy! It's nice to see him finally win one.
