Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open
Damn, I hope Mardy is okay.
I am glad that this means Fed can save some energy, but I really hope it doesn't upset his rhythm.

Unlikely. Fed has had plenty of play this summer. He's match ready. He's probably glad for an extra day off.

as for fed, not sure if he prefers in fact playing two separate tournaments instead of a slam. berdych will be rested for qf.

I have a serious heart condition and have struggled through tennis tournaments with my heart condition and I can promise you that 80-90% of people have NO EMPATHY WHATSOEVER even when I have collapsed on the court and was seen by paramedics. Luckily there was usually one or two kind individuals and the rest just stepped over me like I was a roadblock of no consequence. I had one guy drop his racquet bag on me and then just pick it up and walk off. People can be very very cold and I learned this in a hard way.

Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open
Some people
Fish had heart surgery just recently, what most matters here is whether it is alright. Some things are just bigger than tennis or a player we don't like getting an easier draw.

With over 3k in posts I don't think your trolling. I hope its not Fish's heart because no one should have a heart condition. Fed could use the rest as well

Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open
Seriously now... How can people cry at Federer because Mardy is having health problems ? How is this Fed's fault ? And how does this help Fed ? It's better to play than to have a 4 day break.

Unbeliveable. Was looking forward to this match and now this.
Hoping that Berdych doesn't withdraw or bend over for some reason as well.
Don't get me wrong, I just wanted to see Routinerer tested.

Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open
WHen you only have a handful of rounds to play in a slam, you shouldn't just be able to SKIP a entire fucking round completely and everyone else has to bust their ass and play every round.. This has happened a few times for Olderer

Evidently you didn't watch the Fish-Simon match. Fish was in no form to make a competitive match with Fed. I also pray this is not related to Mardy's heart problems. Get well soon, Mardy.

Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open
Feel bad for Fish, he wouldn't withdraw if it's not serious or something to do with his heart. It's because he doesn't have much time to do well in slams. I really thought this was going to be an awesome match as Fish plays well in the US Open Series. Well get well soon Fish.

Yes, all injuries through out tennis history have directly benefited Federer and only Federer.
