Think about it, there are billions of people living on this planet, but 200 of them are top tennis athletes who work their arses off and they can hardly survive, ... we are talking here about 'middle class' in tennis ... if you don't have a middle class in any society, then forget about it.

Exactly. Which is why I suggested that this may be just a means to twist the slams' arms. To be honest, I think even Wimbledon would be vulnerable to the top players missing. I won't watch much tennis if the top guys are not playing.
