Used to be piratesswoop (Pirate's Swoop) a location from a book series I like, now I shortened it to Pirata which is also the nickname for one of my favourite footballers, Esteban Granero who celebrates goals pretending to be a pirate
I have seen many very strange nicknames on MTF, so I found cool to make a thread for people to explain the origin of their nicknames.
I'll start with myself.
Well, I'm not a doctor. I just chose that name because I remember that when I was in Germany some years ago, the people with PhD in a determined area of knowledge were called "Herr Doktor", and I found it funny.
Carpet it's because I obsviouly loved the old light speed carpet surface.
I do not know if this thread will get many answers, but we'll see. Always nice to know people better.
