Re: News Arnaud
I think that interview with Benny was to create confusion. But that's just how it came across to me, sometimes I have a strange way of thinking.
It's too bad these organizations never give complete information and so many questions remain. It's not just the FFT, but also similar organizations. They only say what they want people to know.
I'm curious to know why they made the decision now and not waited until September like the plan was, especially since the choice doesn't seem easy. And I want to find out what the team says, cause they sure will interview Gilles & co about it.
But still I am ecstatic for Arnaud, cause I know how much he wants this.
A new thread is a good idea.

Good news in Clement's family: Arnaud has become uncle of a little girl named Adèle.
Congrats to Bruno and his wife !

Re: News Arnaud
This was posted before? Arnaud said it in an interview, she was born the same day as Arnaud played his last match.
But congrats to Bruno, his wife and the Clément family!

Re: News Arnaud
They have friends in that city or around I think I remember many years ago Arno saying he spends time of holidays around there or I'm crazy ? They were custumers of that place and no have actions in it then it's a small business affair.

Re: News Arnaud
No holidays yet for Arno he was again at Jo's match today; close match pity he lost
About their business in Dijon an article in a wine review. The inauguration is tomorrow
http://www.larvf.com/,vins-arnaud-cl...83,4246682.asp
Quote:

Re: News Arnaud
An old news
In that article http://www.lepoint.fr/dossiers/ville...476032_735.php It explains that the director of Country Club Aixois is trying to hold a tournament in Aix for 2013 surely a future or a challenger.
It's writen that to be at the head of that tournament he had the yes of Arno. Of course it was before the nomination as DC Captain Now I don't think he can be tournament director and anyway nothing sure about a tournament in Aix
Quote:
|

Re: News Arnaud
why can't he, surely he has some time left after serving as captain? he can be a figurative director with not much work, just calling up the players (now that starts to sound like conflict of interest lol)

Re: News Arnaud
Yes why not but I think that not so easy . For exemple it would be a small tournament not the one you see davis cup players. Then I don't know if he will travel more than Guy Forget but as captain he will go in Grand slam, Bercy, Open 13 and maybe some Masters like MC and Miami And He will have to watch tennis on Tv
Let's see if there is really a tournament in Aix before.

Re: News Arnaud
I was looking for news about swiss interclubs and today they just post news http://www.swisstennis.ch/?rub=544&id=129110 or in deustch for deutsch speaker http://www.swisstennis.ch/?dom=1
Arno is announced for Genève eaux vives like last year and they write Llodra will also play for the team
Quote:
|
|
As usual you can be in the team and not play but I think they could use Arno in doubles but no idea how many ties he will play if he plays of course
Anyway to have news follow the site of swiss tennis association. Livescore is announced on their site. You can find the schedule here http://www.swisstennis.ch/?rub=544&id=120049 Start the 31th july
Let's see if he plays for Genève and I think he could play for Marignane again at the end of the year.
add:
I found the PDF of the teams and the team of Genève eaux vives is better and bigger than last year which means less chances to play. http://www.swisstennis.ch/upload/doc...ste-NLA-12.pdf
Arno is considered as a swiss and as many players are in London maybe he will be there for first match

Re: News Arnaud
Played again today lost in single and won a double. The best players of the team should be there for the week-end ties. He played a lot of tennis in 3 days for a retired player

Re: News Arnaud
Update about swiss interclub.
The best players of his team are not here and today Arno had to play Rosol Tough for a retired player but Arno only lost in third set tie-break. He won in doubles. His team may not not play teh final round as they are playing with an average team and they are not qualified two ties before the end of the RR.
