he'll go up to about 210 if i added it all up right... it was a great week for JP, very unexpected. i thought he might fall at the last hurdle against Berankis because he's looked the goods from when i've seen him play.
as for the US Open wildcard, he's definately put his hand up with his performance this week. it'd be great to see someone different get one, but i have a feeling Hewitt will get it again if his ranking isnt high enough...

Lleyton even if win the tournament this week will not have time to login to the U.S. Open, and he will get a wild card, WC does not get Smith, for one simple reason, it not a player in Davis Cup.

John won his first round in Charlotsville against Robert Farah 6-3 6-1. Takes on 6th seed Bobby Reynold in the second round. He is also in doubles with John Peers seeded 2 they won the first round 5-7 7-6(5) 10-2.
