will be very close though. something like #997 or #998
but it is still awesome!
in 2 weeks either a player born in 1997 or even 1998 will enter the ATP ranking. they meet in this week's Future in the USA in the first round

ah yes Kozlov-Wiersholm both huge American hopes, esp. Kozlov : funny that they play their first or one of their first adults' tournaments and they meet each other in first round : they must have met so often in children's categories
in last year's Orange Bowl 14 quarterfinal, they played a match which lasted 4 hours for 3 sets

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings
can someone explain me quickly one system at live atp rankings website.
For example Kohli has 1685 points prior to the finals. Next points column is the same as max points. Shouldn't it be different tho?
edit: oh nvm, just realized they updated his final points in case he lost..

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings
Are the Olympic points additional to the best 18, like the WTF, or do players have to drop their lowest optional points if they score more in Olympics?
It seems a simple enough question but I haven't been able to find the answer!

They have to drop their lowest optional, which means Djokovic will pass Federer if they get the same result. I have read this in here somewhere. Can't remember which thread, unfortunately.

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings
Thanks - that makes sense. So next year, when the Olympic points drop, I suppose they will add in another tournament from their non-countables.

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings
Haase got his new career high ranking by counting two Kitzbuhels. That's what you call bending the rules

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings
I was looking through the live ranking website, and it says that Djokovic is currently #1? How is that possible if both Djokovic and Roger made the quarterfinals, and fed had more points before the olympics?

Feds 90 points from Doha are erased, while Novak doesn't erase anything.

Re: Unofficial Live ATP Rankings
Oh, I see, thanks for that. How come Fed has to erase Doha though? Doesnt it mean that Novak will have to erase an event at one point or another this year?
