The match wasn't high quality from what I saw. Volandri failed to serve out the first set, Gulbis got broken for the second set, Volandri got broken for the match. Ernests made a lot of UEs and smashed his racquet when he lost the second set but pulled himself together for the third set, at least enough to beat Volandri.
