I don't know for sure, but other forums have said it's on clay. But there is a very good chance it's going to be on clay, as South America has mostly clay tournaments.

Didn't Rio buy Memphis? and wasn't there talk of that still being on Hard when it got moved? I wouldn't be suprised if it was on Hard but it'll more than likely be clay

How many matches per day will be played on main courts? I'd guess four as it means 8 to 12 sets whereas 2 ATP and 1 WTA in the Championships means 8 to 13 sets. Earlier start than 1pm might also enable five matches, but I don't want that to happen so that grass is good in the finals.

I have a hunch Nadal goes to winning this. Federer wants badly the medal for complete his resume but he lacks of the additional boost of what it means to represent his country that Rafa and Nole has.

Considering the surface of Rio de Janeiro ATP 500 in 2014 has not yet been decided, I doubt the surface for the Olympics has either.
It's all speculation at this point, it seems. |

Does someone have the schedule for the men's doubles? I was thinking about it today and if they don't play tomorrow, they'd have to play 3 straight days if there is to be a rest day before the final.
