Can you imagine him (Roger) as a professional football player? I really can't. I can't picture him playing any other sport tbh.

He played football when he was a kid and gave it up to focus on tennis.
Roger would be a diplomat.

We'd have no annoying fanbases, which would bring peace to the world.

Re: what if tennis was never invented??
Most of them are well off to begin with, so I'm doubting the Burger King and Mcdonald's answers. Probably something their parents force them to do.
I'd be interested to see what happened to a player like Sharapova who came from nothing.

Most people that excel at individual sports were pushed to play them. So I definitely agree with the above.

Re: what if tennis was never invented??
Ferrer wanted to quit tennis when he was young because of all the hard training.
He found a job as construction worker and after 1 week quit the job and came back on his knees begging his trainer to take him back

I think he even played in the youth of FC Basel.
Murray and Rafito are pretty good football players as well.

I can't picture him as a football player either. He's either a tennis player or a diplomat in my mind. Roger in a suit.
Also, what's wrong with football players?

I never knew this about him. That's hilarious and so unlike how hardworking he is on court (and probably off as well).
